　　这首"Perfect“”是一首献给现任女友Cherry Seaborn的情歌，艾德说这是他最喜欢的歌曲之一。

　　他说他希望这首歌能够「打败」"Thinking Out Loud"成为他的"the best love song of my career"，这样说或许很怪，但Ed希望能创造出另外一首代表他的歌曲。

　　所以这是他的目标！除了"oh I know that 'Thinking Out Loud'singer"之外，希望有另一首同为情歌的代表作，让众人变成"yeah I know he have a song called'Perfect'"。

　　所以可以发现这首歌就是全然的"classic Sheeran ballad"，「经典艾德情歌」享受在艾德真挚的字句与旋律中整个人都很愉快～原本平凡的夜空都变得特別的浪漫。

　　据报导Cherry和Ed曾经是高中好友，但直到2015才开始交往，是否可以说是一份迟来的爱呢？还是酝酿了很久的情谊？！总之这首歌里就是闪死人不偿命的甜甜爱意～虽然艾德历年以来有一些绯闻女友、也有一些是他本人或他前女友证实过的关系但这次和Cherry的关系看起来特別稳定；Cherry也从美国搬回英国陪Ed，很可以想像Ed当了爸爸以后那一分慈父的神情哈哈～是说，副歌真的太浪漫了！
